Agatha Asiimwe, EdD, Executive Director and Founder
Dr. Agatha Asiimwe is currently a BH Data & Accountability Analyst with the Oregon Health Authority. Agatha is a skilled human services professional and educator who has worked with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental illness in various settings for over 8 years. She has taught for nine years at both the high school and college levels. Recently, she earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Washington State University, Vancouver. Social justice, cross-cultural understanding, and empowering marginalized groups are deeply rooted in her work, both professionally and academically. Besides her professional duties, she is a dedicated mother of three who enjoys spending time with her family, baking, cooking, and tending to her flower and herb garden when the weather permits.
Agatha Ampaire, PhD, Director and Co-founder
Dr. Agatha Ampaire is a dedicated higher education professional and community advocate with over five years of experience in academic advising, career coaching, and student success initiatives. She currently serves as an Academic Advisor at Prairie View A&M University, where she supports diverse student populations through holistic, data-informed advising grounded in NACADA standards. Agatha holds a Ph.D. in Animal Science and an M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Development from South Dakota State University, as well as an M.S. in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
Her expertise spans academic planning, student retention strategies, financial literacy, and inclusive learning environments. She is skilled in tools such as EAB Navigate and DegreeWorks and ensures full compliance with FERPA standards. Outside of her university roles, Agatha is passionate about empowering individuals through virtual coaching, career readiness programs, and community leadership. Her work reflects a deep commitment to equity, access, and lifelong learning.
Rosetta Adzasu, MS, Director and Co-founder
Rosetta Adzasu is a compassionate and dedicated human services professional with extensive experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and resource coordination. She currently serves as a Case Manager for the State of Oregon in Multnomah County, where she supports individuals and families in navigating complex challenges by connecting them with essential community services and developing individualized plans for self-sufficiency.
Rosetta’s career spans various roles across the public and nonprofit sectors, including positions as a property liaison, child welfare specialist, and seasonal case manager at Genentech. In each role, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to equity, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative problem-solving—qualities that have enabled her to serve clients from diverse backgrounds effectively.
She holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Comparative Ethnic Studies from Washington State University. Fluent in English, Italian, and intermediate Spanish, Rosetta also speaks Ewe and Twi, enhancing her ability to communicate across cultures.
Driven by a passion for empowering others, Rosetta continues to make a positive impact in her community by delivering empathetic, professional, and transformative support to those she serves.
Bishop Pons Awinjo Ozelle, Director/Board Chair
Bishop Pons Ozelle is the 3rd and current Bishop of Nebbi Diocese, Uganda, now serving his fourth term. He holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Trinity Theological University (Singapore) and multiple academic qualifications in theology, education, law, and business.
Ordained in 2000, he has served as Diocesan Secretary, Administrator, Archdeacon, and parish priest. A former footballer and educator, he has worked with World Vision, taught in several institutions, and served on school boards.
Bishop Ozelle is a strong advocate for education, youth empowerment, and moral integrity. He urges Ugandans to invest in education and warns against the dangers of indiscipline, social media distractions, and risky behaviors. He is especially passionate about ministries for children, youth, women, and community development
Faith Mbabazi Musinguzi, Ph.D., Director
Dr. Faith Mbabazi Musinguzi is an experienced educator, counselor, researcher, and academic leader with more than 20 years in higher education and mental wellness. She is the Head of Postgraduate Studies (Faculty of Education) at Uganda Christian University (UCU) and has previously led the Education Department and coordinated the PhD in Education Program.
Dr. Mbabazi holds a PhD in Education with research focused on role conflict and burnout among university administrators. Her professional expertise consists of educational psychology, guidance and counseling, the mental well-being of learners, higher-education leadership, and lifelong learning. She has several publications to her name. She also leads the Agape Wellness Counseling Firm, offering counseling services and community psychoeducation, and serves as vice president of the Uganda Private Universities Lecturers’ Consortium, contributing to national efforts in educational leadership and mental wellness.
Alvis Asiimwe, Director
Alvis Asiimwe is a dedicated childcare provider and aspiring nurse based in Ridgefield, Washington. A 2025 graduate of Ridgefield High School and Clark College through the Running Start program, she is currently completing nursing prerequisites at Clark College.
Alvis works as a hostess at IHOP and continues to serve as a nursery attendant at Ridgefield United Methodist Church, where she provides safe, engaging care for young children. With experience in babysitting and early childhood supervision, she is known for her reliability, strong work ethic, and passion for supporting families.
Deeply committed to social justice and community service, Alvis hopes to combine her love for caregiving and advocacy through a future career in nursing.
